Description

The MP range of pumps combined with a mechanical switch and pressure tank are a reliable, efficient and cost effective water supply solution. The wide voltage range of the motor and the simple spring relay on the mechanical switch makes this a suitable system in areas of poor electrical power supply, brown outs, spikes or prone to electrical storms.

The pressure tank reduces pump cycling and wear and tear on the motor caused by frequent starts. Water stored in the air charged tank can fi ll a kettle or flush a toilet. Pressure switch settings can be adjusted to increase water draw off or reduce pump cycling. Larger pressure tanks are recommended to reduce water hammering that might occur when the cut in pressure is reached and a large volume of water is supplied into the discharge pipe.
