Stage 1 – is a 20-micron coarse filter that removes solids larger than 20 micron and provides protection for second and third stages.
Stage 2 – is a 1-micron polishing filter that removes small solids and cysts such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium.
Stage 3 – is an ultraviolet disinfection lamp that sterilizes viruses and bacteria.
