Fittings are suitable for joining Metric Blueline polyethylene pipes – PE-HD.
Fittings comply with the dimensional requirements and characteristics of the following relevant standards:
– ISO 3458 / 3459 / 3501 / 3503 ISO 14236
Operating Pressure
Fitting Pipe Diameter 16mm up to 63mm: 1600kpa (16 bar)
Fitting Pipe Diameter 75mm up to 110mm: 1250kpa (12.5 bar)
Refer Pumps & Pipes for Derating with liquid temperature above 20-degree C.
Australian Standard Conformity: AS4020 Drinking water approved.
Fittings offer excellence weather properties that protect against degradation UV Radiation (installed in exposed systems)
Threading
Threads (BSP) are manufactured according to ISO 7, DIN2999 and BS 21
All internal female threads smaller then 80mm are parallel
All male threads and other female threads are tapered
Recommended that PTFE Tape is used when making threaded connections
Assembly should be carried out by hand and final tightening by Cap Wrench (PMWRENCH)
Extra care must be taken not to over tighten and otherwise damage the thread
